Hello and welcome to my private website Twilight-Visions [dot] Net. As the subtitle might already tell you, this website is about 'me, myself...and I' (yes I'm being really self-obsessed here^^), that is Ana Nives Law and the things I'm interested in.
Nevertheless, a website solely about me might be slightly boring for other people, so there has to be something in it for you as well, right? And of course, there is loads of (hopefully) interesting stuff for you to take away.

I thought it was about time that I added an article about Thirty Seconds to Mars to the music section since I’ve “elevated” them to the level of my favourite bands a while agao :) Well, as always it’s not really information about the band, but what I think about it….or in this case how I became a fan of this band.
I haven’t had much time to do anything enjoyable this week since I’ve been working most of the time. I know I always complained about my tutoring job, but the job I started last week is a thousand times worse…trust me. Driving around to find the most remote houses in this area, knocking on hundreds of doors, getting barked at by countless dogs, asking stupid questions no one wants to answer and handing out light bulbs…sounds like the job of my dreams!! :eek: Plus: when I’m done with it I have to hurry to Völkermarkt, eat my lunch so fast that I almost choke on it and give tutoring lessons :eek: :eek:
But I shouldn’t be complaining, I should be thankful to have these jobs…and after all the first one is only for one month.
After this very stressful week I refused to do any work this weekend. So today I went for a very long walk to the “caves” where me and my cousins always used to play when we were kids. I almost didn’d find it because the area changed so much (well, I guess trees grow a lot in 14 years time :P )
But anyway it was nice to be there and remember all the games we used to play there. I wanted to take some pictures, but the battery of my phone died before I could :( But I’m planning on going there again soon before it gets too cold. Hope I’ll have time for it.
Next weekend I deffinitely won’t have time since I’ll be in London :D Yay!! I’m sooooo looking forward to it. Can’t wait for this week to be over (although it hasn’t even started yet :eek: ) It’s probably going to be a busy week, I’ve got loads on my schedule…so let’s just hope it’ll pass quickly and then I can enjoy my short trip to my beloved English country :D

Layout for you, ticket for me :)

Hello there!! I was thinking it’s time for an update…and her it is: A new layout!! Two layouts in one month, when was the last time that happened on TV, huh? ;)
Well, it’s certainly not one of my favourites, but oh well…I cannot always produce a masterpiece, right? ;P
Hm…other than that I have nothing really interesting to say. I started tutoring again…and it’s still the same pain in the a**. It’s just so annoying when you’re trying to teach people English who don’t really give a shit…but hopfully I won’t have to do it much longer.

Oh, almost forgot!! There is something more interesting…at least for me ;) After two months of waiting my MUSE tickets for Wembley finally arrived today!!
I just love looking at them *lol* Well, not much longer and I’ll be there!!

Thirty Seconds to WTF!!

Reporting back from Frequency Festival:
OMFG it was…great…unbelievable…awesome…just fucking amazing!!! The weather, the people, THE BANDS!!! Everything was just perfect! And I got to stand second row :D Mission almost accomplished! It wasn’t front row, but second row is almost the same :P Especially, since I only went to the stage at around 4 pm when there already were quite a few people there, but I still somehow ended up at the front :D
Well, at first it was just the waiting part, the bands weren’t too bad, but not exactly my favourites…and annoyingly loud. I really should’ve taken “Ohropax” with me. But I made friends with some really nice people while waiting :)
And then at 7.50 pm Thirty Seconds to Mars finally came on stage…they were really great!! Their whole show and how they got the audience going!! It was crazy and it literally took me only 30 seconds (well, maybe even less) to think “WTF, how crazy is this” ;) After their show I looked like I had taken a shower I was sweating so much from all the jumping and dancing…well, everyone was, which makes it really disgusting but I guess no one really cared at that moment *lol*
I (and I think everyone else) was just a little disappointed that they had to cut short on The Kill because they didn’t have time anymore :( But nevertheless a really great concert which I won’t forget :) Plus, they played Attack, which is one of my favourites, so thank you Thirty Seconds to Mars :D
After them came Billy Talent who where also brilliant. Sometimes they seemed a bit off and I think towards the end Ben had troubles with his voice (no surprise, singing like that can’t be healty for your voice), but nevertheless I think they were great, at least I really enjoyed it!! But the difference to 30STM was that while during 30STM you were able dance and jump and do things, there was no way you could even move during Billy Talent. It was so packed I couldn’t even reach into my bag to get my camera out…
Well, after they were done I wanted to get out, I just needed to sit down somewhere because during Billy Talent I already got cramps in my legs…which wasn’t very pleasent. So after the security managed to pull me out of the crowd I got something do drink and sat down for a while…and then finally went back to find my friends again. We then only watched half of Die Toten Hosen and then went back to the caravan park, because I was totally done for. Nevertheless, I couldn’t sleep all night which means I was up until the next morning when my train arrived at 9.30 am. :o  On the train I got at least some sleep and arrived at 3.15 pm at the train station in Klagenfurt.
Those were two long and exausting days….and you won’t believe how much my calves hurt today there where I had the cramps (I had them all through the nigth), I can hardly stretch them, and that’s just because I was standing there all the time trying not to get pushed away…but it was totally worth it, I would do it again anytime. :D
And I got a new t-shirt as you can see :) I didn’t plan on buying any t-shirts, but when I was walking to the stage I saw this and I just couldn resist ;) I just think it would even look better if there was the triad on it, too…but oh well, I still love it ;P

Frequency, here I come!

Time for another update. I uploaded six new icons. Nothing too fancy. And here they are:

Well, tomorrow morning I’m off to Frequency Festival. I’m taking the train and I should arrive in St.Pölten at around 1pm. Then a quick drive to the festival area, pick up my wristband, finding my friends and then off to the Race Stage trying to get a spot right at the front. (Which shouldn’t be too difficult at that time, I guess)
I’m so looking forward to it, I’m sure it’s going to be great…I just love concerts, I would like to describe what going to a concert means to me, but I don’t have the time for it now. But I will include a short text which I once came across coincidentally on this tumblr account. And I think it describes spot on what I feel, I could have written it myself:

Have you ever noticed that when youre at a show, you literally forget everything? While you’re there, nothing fucking matters in the world except for you, the band, and the people with you, and sometimes not even them. It’s like therapy for broken souls and broken hearts, broken people. Hearing the songs live is so much different from hearing them through your speakers. You can see the emotion on the singers face, feel the drum beats and basslines thundering through your body. The entire room moves, sometimes as one and sometimes as hundreds of different people. It’s an escape from reality, because sometimes reality sucks so much that the only place to get away from it is to go to a dark room with hundreds of other people that you don’t think you know. But really, who you probably have a lot more in common with than you think. So you sit through the first few bands. Maybe you know them, maybe you don’t. But then it’s time for the headliner, and you can feel the anticipation teeming in the room. Your heart beats faster, you can just feel it coming. It’s like the calm before the storm, because when the band walks onto the stage, you can just lose it. And headlining bands almost always have an epic way of walking onto the stage. Sometimes its the drummer first, drumming beats that hit straight to your core, and other times, they file out one by one, to increasing screams from the crowd. But when that first note is sung from the first song they play, everything slips your mind. It’s just you, the band, and everyone there with you, there for the same reason – release. A release from stress. From worry. From pain. From crying. From all that shit in your life, you escape from it. You scream the words at the top of your lungs like it’s all you’ve got left to hold onto. It’s the best feeling in the world, especially if it’s something you desperately need.

You set my soul alight

I just have to blog something now….just got to listen to MUSE over the phone…I know I know, it’s not at all like a first-hand, close up, live experience, but it still was PURE AWESOMENESS!!
I had just gotten out of the car when my phone rang, and I new it would be someone who’s at Frequency. So I dropped everything and picked up the phone…and there I heard it…Uprisingat full blast :D Thank god it was dark outside, because I put my phone on loudspeakers and actually started dancing around in our yard *lol* If someone had seen me he probably would’ve called the police^^ And right after Uprising came Supermassive Black Hole….aaaah how much I would give to be right there…
Yeah, I know I’ll see them soon anyway, but still…it was so weird this morning when I turned on the radio. They were talking about Frequency and then tonight’s headliners (Muse) and what an amazing show they are planning…..And then it hit me: MUSE is performing tonight in Austria. It somehow was like I heard it for the first time (although I’ve known it for months). It actually never mattered that much that I couldn’t go today, but this morning all of a sudden I wanted to go so badly! I was like a child that wants something but is not allowed to have it *lol* I know it’s really ridiculous, especially since I’ll see them anyway at Wembley (to which Frequency could never reach up to), but it still would’ve been nice to see them tonight…well, at least I got to hear them :D
And I’m sure that Saturday with 30 Seconds to Mars and Billy Talent will make up for today too :)

Now I’ll just go and wait for them to call me again…preferably during Plug in Baby, New Born, Hysteria or Cave(if they play it, which I doubt). Well, they could call me during every song, I wouldn’t mind ;P
