Music
Life without it, cant' exist...

First of all, why am I writing about music?
Well, that's because it's one of the most important things in my life!!

I love music, I can't live without music.
I love listening to music, making music...
There is not a single day that I'm not walking around whistling a tune or singing a song. Even if I'm in a bad mood, then it just might be more melancholy^^
Music is so important for me because it comforts me, helps me dealing with things, it's cheering me up, helps me relaxing, helps me concentrate...and so much more. I don't know what I would do without it, I'm listening to it every moment possible and I'd probably be lost without it.

I also love sitting in the middle of the floor of my room playing my guitar... No matter if it's acoustic or electric guitar (while it's easier to 'rock' with an electric guitar when you're standing *lol*)
I also play the flute, which I'm better at than playing the guitar, I'm not really a good guitarist I think. Certainly no Matt Bellamy ;)
Anyway the instrument I probably love the most is the piano (which unfortunately I don't play). Pity we had to give away our lovely piano when my sister got her first child, because we needed the space. But since they've moved out now, we might get it back and maybe I'll start learning it then :)

Now, I will also tell you what kind of music I'm listening to. Generally, it's a pretty wide variety, but mainly I'm listening to Alternative Rock, Rock, a little bit of Metal, Brit Rock/Pop but also classical music and I really love movie scores.
Some of the bands I like (in no specific order):
Coldplay, MUSE, Bon Jovi, Creed, 30 Seconds to Mars, Foo Fighters, Paolo Nutini, Queen, The Beatles, Nirvana, Silverchair, Aerosmith, Staind, Alanis Morissette, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, The Hoosieres, Metallica, Apocalyptica, Jet, Keane, Jack Johnson, Johnny Cash, Incubus, Pearl Jam, System Of A Down, Bryan Adams, R.E.M.,...and many more :)
Some of my favourite movie scores are:
Braveheart, The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Carribbean, Requiem for a Dream, Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain, Star Wars, Chocolat, scores from Tarantino movies, Twilight,...
My favourite composers are:
Chopin, Yann Tiersen, Erik Satie

My favourite song:
Well, that is a question I will never be able to answer. I have kind of a list of top songs, but I could never pick a single one over all the others, because every song has got something special about it, each in it's own way.
However, I will name a few of my favourit piano pieces to recommend them to you, I think people should listen to more classical music ;):
Für Elise by Beethoven, Gnossienne No. 1 by Erik Satie, Comptine d'un autre été by Yann Tiersen, Postcards From Far Away by Chris Martin,...
And two music pieces which I've loved since I was a child are The Moldau by Smetana (I was so happy when I was finally good enough to play it together with my music teacher on the flute) and O Fortuna by Carl Orff.
