The whole story about Twilight Visions
You might wonder what this whole website is actually about...well, I'll try to explain :)
I created TV years ago (July 29, 2004 to be precise ;) ) to share some things with the public^^ It didn’t really have a structure then and I can't really classify what type of website it was back then. There was pretty much everything on it ranging from articles I wrote about music, acting, places I like, etc. to my early graphic attempts. It developed more and more into a website where you can find resources like layouts, wallpapers, icons and some tutorials. However, I still kept the articles on it it as well, although I don’t think that many people ever noticed or even read them.
However, that’s pretty much what TV is now: a graphic resource site, but
even mor my personal website, because you'd get to know me a lot if you bothered
to read through the articles ;) And it's also a place where my thoughts run free
and I can complain about...well, whatever is bothering me right now, because believe
it or not, complaining helps me a lot to deal with things. Just let me complain
a little and I'm feeling much better immediately *lol*
Why the name?
The fist thing I knew before starting to work on my first personal website(which is this one, I had a LotR website before that one...actually still have^^), was the name. Well, I actually had two variations in mind:
Twilight Visions, or
Twilight Reverie
But finally I chose Twilight Visions. I know there is just a slight difference between these two names. Still I regretted it sometimes that I didn’t chose Twilight Reverie…however, now I think the choice was good, because Twilight Visions is perfectly fitting for the website. I can't explain why, that's just the way it is :) My Twilight Reverie is something else ;)
Well, other than that I can only say I love my TV even if I don't work on it constantly, just knowing that it's there is good^^ My own little space in the World Wide Web. And I think for a website Twilight Visions has reached a considerable age. :)
Well, I guess that's pretty much the story of TV...
Just one last thing: Some people might think that this has got something to do with the
Twilight Series, but no it does not, not at all!! Twilight Visions was created long before the novels were published. The only thing that connects me/these sites to the novels is that I like them and I sometimes make some graphics inspired by them, but the idea of the website itself is not connected to them at all.

Ihr fragt euch sicher, was diese Seite hier überhaupt für einen Sinn hat,
was das ganze soll. Nun ja, ich werde versuchen es irgendwie zu erklären:
Im Moment ist diese Seite einfach eine ganz persönliche Seite von mir. Es gibt
auch noch nicht wirklich viel zu sehen.
Ich kann auch noch nicht sagen, ob das Thema der Seite(also ich *g* und Sachen,
die ich mag bzw. gerne tue) bleiben wird. Die Idee entstand jetzt einfach nur
so aus einer Laune heraus. Ich teile mich eben manchmal gerne mit *g*und sag
meine Meinung zu gewissen Dingen. Es kann sein, dass in ein paar Wochen schon
wieder was anderes hier ist.
Auch ein Grund, warum ich das hier mache ist, ich bastle unheimlich gerne Layouts!!!
Es ist auch die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass ein Layout auf lange Zeit zu sehen
ist, sehr klein. Einige werden vielleicht etwas länger online sein, andere vielleicht
nur 1 Woche.
Und genau deshalb mach ich das. Wenn ich zB bei Tolkiens
World, meiner anderen Seite ständig das Layout wechseln würde, wäre das
irgendwie bescheuert und außerdem ziemlich zeitaufwendig, wegen der ganzen Unterseiten.
Tja, aber hier wirds halt bescheuert *g*
Mal sehen, was sich in nächster Zeit so ergibt.

Tja, das hab ich geschrieben als Twilight Visions online ging. Das Thema des
ganzen hat sich seither eigentlich nicht wirklich geändert. Allerdings
hab ich damals glaube ich nicht daran gedacht, dass TV mal auf einen eigenen
Server zieht und dass ich mir eine .net Domain registriere.
Vom textlichen Inhalt her ist eigentilch alles geblieben, aber auch viel an
Goodies dazugekommen, sprich Brushes, Layouts, Tutorials, etc. Das möchte
ich eigentlich auch beibehalten :)
Die Überlebensdauer einer Website kann manchmal ziemlich kurz sein. Tja,
dafür hat Twilight Visions ja nun ein recht gutes alter erreicht...und
ich hoffe, ich schaffe es zeitlich sie auch weiterhin am Leben zu erhalten...die
Lust dazu fehlt mir jedenfalls nicht ;)
Ich hoffe natürlich auch, dass alle Besucher mir und TV.net weiterhin treu
bleiben
